Re-read my message and ignore the graphic I added. It should be perfectly clear as to what I was referring to.
Maybe it's because Austin is packed with libs, but I lived in Austin 1990-91 and it was one of the least friendly places I have ever been. The friendliest people my wife and I encountered there were originally from Sweden, Florida, Boston & Chicago.
I live outside of #10 Portland ME. My church has almost 1000 worshipers every week. There are two other evangelical near mega churches in the area... the decline in the Catholic church in our area is troubling though. Please pray for salvation & revival in Portland ME! Thank you!

The catechism is not God's Word so if not having TRUTH is ok by you - have at it. Not everyone receives JESUS as we know from HIS WORD. Many are on the road to destruction. I have eternal life - something 'man made teaching' believers do NOT have through their own choice. And that is because of unbelief in God - what they have is 'BELIEF in 'Man'.
Reminder: no one can serve two masters. Eve put her belief in 'man/evil' also,- catholics don't know nor understand even the First Book of The Bible/Genesis and they fuss about ALL? See how the CC teaches/deceives? The catholics have a lack of knowledge BIG TIME from the get go. Get to know and understand the 1st Book FIRST and use time wisely instead of mimicking untruths taught by 'man'. to keep their subjects busy on 'all' as if that is some kind of defense for the CC deceptive teachings.
Don't be concerned about the number of books which is a diversion of evil - get to know HIS WORD which brings a relationship to The Father. And not the deceptive 'holy father/man' that Catholicism puts on a throne that leds 'their church' with 'their man made teachings' while confessing they belong to 'Mary/man'.

When I moved to Dallas, back in 1975, having moved from Michigan, I went to my first Texas grocery store and was picking up celery when a produce guy asked me how I was doing. I had never been asked anything like that from a stranger back in Michigan. I was sort of stunned. He didn't have to be friendly to me, he wasn't selling me anything. After that I noticed that anywhere I went people were friendly for no good reason. I got to kind of like it.
I made a trip to Washington State by truck and trailer in 1989. In Seattle, I stopped to ask a gas station attendant for directions and he gave them to me and when I repeated back the directions so he could make sure I got them right he stopped me in the middle and said, "I already told you!" I did not meet one friendly stranger in the Seattle area who was not selling me something and I even experienced a grocery clerk who did not make eye contact nor smile at all through the entire transaction. However, as I crossed the mountains into eastern Washington state people began to warm up.
The closer I got to Texas the friendlier the people got.
Common courtesy, as Aristotle described, is the oil that makes society run smoothly.
Some places are just better oiled than others.
There you have it folks, the most “christian” State is listed as Utah in many polls, but Salt Lake City ranks in the last 20 for Bible-mindedness. What does that tell us?
