What a tragedy that the beautiful church was destroyed in the first place. It is hard to find the same quality of workmanship today. The carving of the high altar was a labor of love to glorify the Almighty. When he gives you a talent, what better use can you make of it than to bring glory to the Lord?!

I agree. If the statues needed some renovation, that would have been OK; but to completely destroy the holiness and insert the profane is unforgivable.
