I believe that under-reporting makes such such cmparizons meaningless
They are starting to report teachers more and more, but it seems the school district’s have some way to lock their money.
So to no avail?

Celibacy isn’t the problem here, homosexuality is.
You don't know that. Not even the Pope knows this due to the innumerable cover-ups the Church has engaged in over the decades. It stands to reason that we only know of some of the cover-ups and not all of them.
I'd also go so far as to theorize that homosexual pedophilia and homosexual pederasty are over-represented in the Church due to the disproportionate representation of homosexuals in the Church - a fact that even the Pope himself has alluded to this year.

That scripture does not say "an elder must be married."
What it says is that an elder must have just one wife.
Since it was a polygamous era, it was possible to have more than one wife.
Therefore, this does not forbid a person being an elder who does not have any wife at all. An unmarried person does not have more than one wife.
That is more in line with Paul who apparently was not married. And it is in line with his instruction that in those days it was best not to be married at all.
In this particular case, homosexuality was not an issue. The victims were girls.
Your list sure changes a lot, for instance I think fathers used to be number one or two on your list, just what is this “list” anyway, why don’t you just post it and the research it is based on?
The Pope is not infallible. Only the Sacraments are because they come from Jesus who is not an ordinary person.
It’s a bulls#!t list to start with, every other category has at least ten times the people as priests!!!

It's more complicated than that, too. You also have people who suffered from loneliness, alienation, mental/emotional issues as kids, who later got into the study of psychology in order to understand themselves, and feel themselves uniquely equipped to help others empathetically because of their own experience.
They may think they have made a good recovery in understanding their own emotional difficulties, or in "managing" their own disturbing impulses, but the worst stuff comes back all too easily when they are alone with a vulnerable or emotionally confused kid.
My husband and I knew a guy who "worked with troubled youth" at an Evangelical City Rescue Mission, and had a reputation for being a "wounded healer" (a big phrase in many Christian circles) and "so-o-o- good with the kids." His marriage finally collapsed because he was making out with his counselees on his living-room sofa.
I agree with everything, except it doesn’t only apply to men. How many reports have we read about women teachers having affairs with young male students.
The only time the Pope is infallible is when he speaks ex cathedra about Church doctrine.
Other than that, he is just an ordinary human being, as many, many Popes have demonstrated.

Under-reporting of the other categories does make comparisons meaningless.
