On Piers Morgan Live Friday, Morgan asked Pastor Rick Warren whether he thought Christians’ views on homosexuality and same-sex marriage would ever “evolve” as they had for other perspectives in the Bible that “seem very anachronistic.” Warren replied no, adding, “I fear the disapproval of God more than I fear your disapproval or the disapproval of society.”
Morgan invited Warren to discuss several topics, including Warren’s opinion of the new Pope, homosexuality, and same-sex marriage. In a mutually respectful dialog, the two differed on many issues, most notably same-sex marriage.
Warren: Tolerance, Piers, used to mean we treat each other with mutual respect, even if you have major disagreements. Today, tolerance has been changed to mean all ideas are equally valid. Well that’s nonsense. All ideas are not equally valid. ...
Morgan: But do you believe in equality for all?
When Warren answered yes, Morgan continued.
Morgan: Then how can you as a Christian man, and a great man ... how can you espouse genuine equality if you don't allow gay people the same right to get married as straight people?
Warren contended that his issue is really with the societal redefinition of the term marriage, referencing the growing trend of Orwellian “doublespeak,” or twisting of the meaning of many important terms in modern culture.
Morgan: There are many things in the Bible that today wouldn’t fly... there are a number of things in the Bible that seem very anachronistic. ... Can you see a time when not just you, but other Christian preachers, and indeed the Catholic Church and others, say, you know what, real equality means everyone has the same right to get married, gay or straight?
Warren: I cannot see that happening in my life. I fear the disapproval of God more than I fear your disapproval or the disapproval of society.
At which point, many in the audience broke out in applause.

Not a big fan of Rick Warren, but I am very proud of him for that statement.
Well, I'll be. Warren finally winds up on the right side for a change.

There will always be people who will modify and tinker things until they are barely recognisable. Like Mormonism. Or how fornication somehow became an “okay” sin. When the tinkerers have numbers on their side, voila, the definitions change.
Evidently Morgan does not realize that to some Protestants, myself included, the pope is almost as alien as the ayatollahs.
And not all Christian believe in evolution, either.
Ok. Piers is no better than any muslim whk defines God’s prophet as Christ descending from the cross. This is not the same story and Christ.
If it is for gay marriage blessed horror it is not Christian, period. It is not the same God. The same way with the word Catholic. It is the doctrine which defines the word Catholic, and any other doctrine requires its new definition and label.
Piers is using a stealth variation of word destruction the way of the memory hole. There is no “evolution”. Every different DNA is its own patent. Piers proves that diversity relativism into a single basket liberal idea does breed a single kind into uniracial fascism.

Evolution requires a rebuild, it is a software drawing board process.
The “evolution” they talk about is something completely different. If my DNA is different than yours, I am different, I have not particularly evolved from nor evolving to yourself. But there in lay the fascist narcissist liberal: to them we have to admire them as a the evolved specie, as our descendant of purer race, as something we owe to, where as the “traditionalists” are backwards subhumans worshipping ancestors.
Liberals hide these finer foundation points of their thinking. They do not come out with these ideas out of thin air. It is all self serving in their feelings of racial superiority. We are the monkeys, they are the new holy PC sex advanced race and our superiors.
It is like night and day, heaven and hell, gays and non gay society, there is no “evolution”, but completely different cults requiring different labels proselytizing. They cannot come out the closet and admit they come from Satan. Obama does the same when he pretends coming in as a heterosexual tolerating homosexuals, when he is a closet homosexual.
