It's coming up on three years since the Milwaukee Archdiocese declared bankruptcy. Archbishop Jerome Listecki has spent $11 million on lawyers' fees trying to limit the amount of money paid to the more than 500 people who say they were sexually abused by local Catholic clergy. Recently, insurance companies started buying back policies they sold to the archdiocese as a way of limiting liability.

The insurance companies know that plenty of high-ticket liability still exists within the local catholic diocese. They're getting out while the getting is good.

The church paid $11 million trying to re-screw the abuse survivors. False doctrine attracts corrupt adherents.

“Archbishop Jerome Listecki has spent $11 million on lawyers’ fees trying to limit the amount of money paid to the more than 500 people who say they were sexually abused by local Catholic clergy.”

This is truly a disingenuous statement. The attorneys in the class action law suit have milked this diocese dry. The Archbishop repeatedly stated that this was happening, and that legal fees and responses would leave nothing for the claimants. The class-action attorneys continued to file motions which the diocese had to respond to via the legal channels. There are a few more rich lawyers now.

And a few more rich bishops. Archbishop Rembert Weakland was allowed to resign his office voluntarely and received all retirement benefits due a former bishop, despite his having a gay lover while an archbishop. Under Listecki, the archdiocese fell under investigation for fraudulently shifting funds to keep them away from the abused. Read Archbishop Jerome Listecki's 2011 bankruptcy announcement, and note that he doesn't accept any responsibility on the part of Archbishop Weakland, himself, or the archdiocese for the abuse that took place. Has the archdiocese confessed any guilt for what took place?

...if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you,
leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison.
Truly, I say to you, you will never get out until you have paid the last penny.

False doctrine attracts corrupt adherents.

True doctrine attracts enemy fire. The communist attack of choice is infiltration.

The current bishop, who is the one dealing with this problem, is very orthodox and thus hated by the press and by liberal Catholic groups, who have done everything possible to keep things stirred up. Weakland was an evil man, not only gay, but one who used his power to maintain his lifestyle and protect his equally corrupt friends and attack the faithful. He’s still out there, in fact, living peacefully, and will never have to answer for his crimes because he was the darling of the press and the Dem party.

Satan is attacking the new bishop with everything he’s got because this bishop is trying his best to purge the Church of this evil.
