The president and NATO couldn't wait to come to the rescue of Muslims at the slightest hint of a 'massacre' or 'mass graves'.

Not that I'm suggesting we should intervene in Syria, but I really wonder why our government is so quick to throw in with our enemies yet ignore the suffering of our allies.

The archbishop concluded his statement concerning Sadad by asking: “We have shouted aid to the world but no one has listened to us. Where is the Christian conscience? Where is human consciousness? Where are my brothers? I think of all those who are suffering today in mourning and discomfort: We ask everyone to pray for us.”

Perhaps we don't think Syrian Christians are really human beings? Something has to explain this.
