MOSCOW, November 22 (RIA Novosti) – A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Pope Francis scheduled for next week is especially important in the context of the ongoing Syrian civil war, a senior Russian Catholic priest said.

Igor Kovalevsky, a secretary general of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of Russia, told RIA Novosti in a recent interview that the meeting “has not only a religious aspect, but also humanitarian and political” ones.

He said that the Kremlin and Vatican share a similar stance on war-torn Syria and the protection of “traditional Christian values in the modern world.”

You see how easily things can change in just one lifetime?

And although you see it coming, when it finally comes its almost like you never saw it coming.

Yes.

The Russian president is a patriot, in his own peculiar exKGB thuggish way, and at least puts on a good show of being a Christian.

The American president is a liar and a traitor, hates the country of which he is president, acts like a third-world tribal savage, and is probably a mohammedan.

If a time traveler from 2013 had told me this in, let us say, 1980 ... I would have thought him mad.

Russian President Vladimir Putin

Ezekiel 38:

“Behold, I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal. 4 I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them splendidly attired, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them wielding swords;

This could be an earthshattering meeting that could change the whole world —or at least the Middle East.

Same here. I’m astonished at how quickly things have changed. It was about then that I began to study prophecy and believed the “this generation” statement meant us but couldn’t imagine that America would be inconsequential so quickly.

Who would have thought just a few short years ago that Putin would have the power he has today? It is probably he who will lead the attack on Israel.

That’s why I keep saying that the pre-millennial view seems to me the most valid theory in our age.

It’s the only view that fits prophesy.
