I sense Koppelman knows where this will lead if he doesn’t support the right to dissent / disapprove of things HE doesn’t approve of. Smart man.

Interesting. This tolerant gay guy will probably be firmly rebuked with a 2x4 upside his head -—by his less accommodating brethren

He’s done.
He dared show some semblance of cognition and will be punished.

I saw the panel. Koppelman sounded earnest. The problem is his fellow travelers. Where reforms are motivated by respect for individual freedom you are likely to get freedom. Where reforms are motivated by regard for fascism, you get what you get.

The reason, George explained, that he knew liberals would not support the accommodation of those who disagree with them about the definition of marriage, is that "liberal secularism never was, and never will be, and never could be, ... a purely political doctrine." Rather, it is a "comprehensive view" of human nature.

Actually, George, it is a religion. The current culture war is nothing more than a new religion asserting dominance over an old religion. This has been going on since Babylon. The enemy's "post-religious" pretense is deliriously hypocritical.
