Likely, this “Baptist” minister is, in reality, an atheist. Quiz these reprobate heretics even a little, and you’ll learn that they deny Jesus virgin birth, his miracles, his resurrection from the dead, even his very existence, in many cases. They just like the “idea” of God and Jesus, and try to use them to a political advantage.

"Bible first then mans law next." Same-sex marriage does not even conform with natural law, which is the basis of our Consitution, which is the supreme law of America.

Don't worry, people like this nitwit have a long song and dance about how the Bible, Jesus Christ in particular, doesn't rule out queers marrying one another. In fact, I recently heard a local Methodist pastor down at the Bluegrass Bar & Church explain it all complete with quoting many verses.
People under a strong delusion have no problem squaring their favorite habitual sin with Scripture even if it's only by saying that we all sin and Christ forgives for their sins.
