I'm hearing-impaired, white (with a generous dollop of First Nations DNA), male, heterosexual, Viet-Nam veteran, public-school teacher, Catholic, gun owner (a 1905 Lee-Enfield that I haven't shot in years), a senior citizen, a voter, a citizen, a conservative, and still in debt for the house I bought long ago -- something to annoy everyone. It's my job.
Ping!
What? ... huh ?
More Boomers voted for Obama than not, now they can deal with the medical consequences of their choice: Death Panels.
Here’s the original article which I had to go through about three links to get to. It gives much more information.
Feds try to eliminate housing for the deaf — at complex built for hearing-impaired

I am connected to the Deaf community and can tell you, the government is picking on the wrong group of people. If they think that they can push this one through because old people don’t fight back, they are in for a rude awakening because they are also pushing at the Deaf community.
Could you imagine the government trying to do this to a black community? Or a gay community? Or any other PC group?
This is reprehensible....
That is absurd! I’ve got a deaf friend who lives in a deaf-only community in Gresham, Oregon and the thought that they could be sued also makes me sick to my stomach...
