For Barry, it's a twofer--shows his contempt both for the Marine Corps and for the Catholic Church.
Fortunately there is a Catholic Church in Triangle, a couple of miles away, so they don't have to go too far to go to Mass.

And you can bet they're looking at the option.

I think Obama like dicktators before him, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Etal, believes he is the anointed one the embodiment of church and state. We are simply his serfs who’s only purpose is to adore him and follow his orders. In other words he is quite insane.
