No form of crime, deviance or iniquity is ever completely vanquished. Between 1980 and 1990, the rate of sexual abuse, however, decreased 97%... before the mainstream media was reporting it at all. Last year, there were 3 cases identified.

Men who prefer men/boys aren’t going to suddenly desire female to satisfy their urges. I have no problem with married heterosexual priests, but the idea of homosexual married priests is abominable. It’s not about marriage- it’s about homosexuality being against the laws of God and the Church, period!

I’d further add that most mainline churches would see nothing wrong with this whatsoever (TEC, PCUSA, ELCA, UCC, UMC, etc.) As heinous as it is, this is no case of an altar server shocked to find that Fr. Jeff had other reasons for wanting to talk with him; this is another (disgustingly) run-of-the-mill sex hook-up via Craig’s List. But no-one asks why Craig’s List is allowing 15-year-olds to meet up with older men for sex.
If this were at the Democratic National Convention, this would not be news.
