Won’t all this end when Jesus returns?

seems your argument is with God, Truth2012, not Zionist Conspirator. He knows who the true Jews are. They are known by Him, and will be called out, 12,000 from each tribe, for the tribulation. You may not like that, but take it up with Him. It's HIS plan..

As far as gentiles now, we live in the dispensation of the grace of God at this point. Where there is neither Jew nor Gentile, all are on equal standing. We are a heavenly body being formed, the church the Body of Christ. Not an earthly body, the Kingdom Church, made up of Jews and Gentile proselytes. They are different. God never made Covenant promises with gentiles. Our blessings are different and our duties are different during this age of Grace.

No not at all. I am address the statement that Jews should educate people about their religion.

I haven’t read anywhere where those are God’s laws, about membership. God doesn’t say anywhere i the Torah, that the only people who could worship Him were people whose Mother swore to be Jewish.

God didn’t make that religion. Man did. And you are welcome to the religion, it is just thatpeople should not decry people’s faith in the Jewish Jesus, as if you are an expert. Your religion and other people’s faith in Jesus is apples and oranges. Jesus is a Rabbi. His teachings come from the house of Hilel. Many Jewish believers have faith in him, as the son of God.History proves him. But you already know that.

You are responding to a post I made to another poster, about HIS post, saying that Jews should educate.

But why Jews, who held that religious belief, would feel they needed to educate anyone about their religion is strange.

You can’t take any new members. Well unless the Mother’s lied that is...

More than any other form of chrstianity, Fundamentalist Protestants understand that in order to be true, in order to be what it claims to be, chrstianity must be the "fulfillment" (G-d forbid!) of Judaism.

I cannot speak for all of my brethren, but for me it is more of an examination of what 'we' have been taught - A rejection of things which are inherent to Christianity generally (as traditions), because certain absolutes specifically and explicitly defined within the covenants, long ignored in Christian understanding, are destroyed in the Christian system (certainly in Rome, and much imported into Protestantism and it's sphere). That which is specifically and explicitly defined cannot be destroyed, by Yeshua or anyone else. Hence, Christianity's general tenor is rendered false.

For instance, it has long been held that Yeshua 'fulfilled' the law, so the law is no more... That Christians are not held to the Torah, or even the Noahide law. That simply cannot be, without doing injury to the Torah, rendering Yeshua a false prophet. The law is forever, and cannot be changed. And while no one (on any side) is likely to admit it, Yeshua explicitly commanded to do and teach the Torah. And the prophets proclaim that the law WILL go forth from Jerusalem, and the whole world will keep it, giving us a view to how it must inevitably turn out... So this mighty tradition (within all of Christendom) is at fault. Simply understanding this one thing puts an entirely new spin on the new covenant.

So to wit: Fundamentalists regard the explicit and literal as primary, and a deep look at the whole of the Bible structurally causes one to see that some of what we have been taught is left wanting - it is structurally unsound. Messianic/Hebrew roots folks are attempting to throw off tradition and 'come out of her' even more - That inevitably leads one back to the Early Church, before the influence of the Romans and the Greeks, and inherently (naturally) to that which is Hebrew.

Technically (mind you), that Yeshua is the fulfillment of anything must live or die on it's own - Rightly dividing is our job.

Fundamentalist Protestants look up to Jews as genuine (a compliment they don't pay to the ancient chrstian communities). They even acknowledge their authority (or at least expertise) in a limited way. Torah Jews should take advantage of this situation to educate well-meaning non-Jews about the Truth of Torah as opposed to all other religions.

That s pretty close - Having grown in the shadow of Rome makes us very cognizant of faulty traditions, and upon exploring Judaism, it is almost amazing how many parallels to Rome are found also within Judaism - One cannot talk to a Jew without the Talmud being raised in exactly the same way as Rome raises her traditions. That is perhaps why the Karaites (to their great offense) seem to be the ones the Christians wind up seeking out.

I think it would be very profitable to all sides to be able to have a frank discussion on the Torah in the light of the Torah, instead of the light of the Talmud - Perhaps we could all discard useless traditions all around - And maybe that is why Messianics are so threatening to Judaism. In our attempts to return to the Way, we are calling the Jews on the carpet (without even meaning to).

I think you are Jewish....period. And nothing wrong with that. I, for one, would love to know more Jewish people as I know absolutely none.

And I do not worry about converting simply because it is not my job to convert you. If I speak the truth about Jesus and you hear it then I have done what I was called to do. The rest is up to Him...either you believe or you do not but either way it will not make me turn away from you or think less of you.

The governments of men will become powerless when he returns, but there will still be 1000 years to go to the end of planet Earth.

I don’t require J.C. in my life. For you to imply that I do is an insult to Judaism and a heck of a chutzpah on your part. My religion is 100% full and complete without any additions to it. We do not accept any special status of J.C. He is in NO way, in any form, a part of the Jewish religion. You can “desire” that I toss away my religion and jump on your religion’s bandwagon. Ain’t gonna happen. What is the difference, may I ask, between the Muzzies demanding that EVERYONE follow the Muslim religion, no other religions allowed, and your statements that you want me to “come to a saving knowledge of J.C.”? You both want Jews to abandon their religion, which came first, and take up elements from yours. What a chutzpah.

Conversion is not G-d’s job either, hon. It’s the exercising of individual will. I frankly don’t give a hoot whether I remind you of your mother—that’s your own pathology to worry about.

If an uneducated individual is spewing stuff and nonsense about my religion, about which I know far more than they ever will, and trying to represent it as true authentic Judaism, you betcha I’m going to challenge that, lest they mislead others.

Have a nice weekend.

For you to imply, or actually, even say so openly, that my religious faith is an insult to you, means you are intolerant

For you to say that my freedom to believe is intolerant but you are okay with what you believe, is intolerant.

I tell you openly, and freely, that even if I believe, I am TOLD to protect you, support you, and defend you, but to also spread the good news that Jesus died for your sins.

Nothing in your code or belief tells you to believe that I deserve basic human rights or protection because of my origin, but everything in mine says that about you and your origin as a Jew.

Are you sure about what you believe? Because I am sure about mine, how I am to HONOR YOU as a Jew, yet you feel you must denigrate me based on what you believe personally.

I get my beliefs from the Bible, old and new testament.

Where did your beliefs come from?

Not worried at all about what you think, EinNYC.

And I am not your hon either.

Might want to have some therapy for your need to call women by other than their name, or in this case, their username.

Anyone as disrespectful as you won’t soon win anyone over to their way of thinking.

Have a better life...than you seem to be having now.

Goodbye and good luck.

YOU decided to jump into this discussion to add your own two nasty cents. No one particularly invited you. That was your own decision.

Talk about therapy. You sound like you should make that a priority. You have a nasty habit of projection of your own problems onto other people. Your mother was some kind of a doozy? Good--I'm not your mother.

And, you are very disrespectful, which is part of your projection problem. You make attacks on someone who is absolutely entitled to defend themselves, and then you claim that they are "disrespectful" when they do so. If you can't stand the heat, then keep the h*ll out of the kitchen. Don't try piling on with the other pseudo-J posters or you are going to have to deal with the not-so-receptive and totally justified replies.

You also have an unfortunate tendency to make assumptions about people that you are not qualified to make. So, the proper accompaniment to your flailing remarks is...a grain of salt.
