I am also sorry to report that the church adopted, by an overwhelming majority, a new “Social Statement on Criminal Justice” found here: http://blogs.elca.org/assemblynews/post/assembly-adopts-the-church-and-criminial-justice-hearing-the-cries-16
To for such a statement to pass they have to believe the Lefts lie of rampant racism in this country. As a member I’m very disappointed.
It is clear the “L” in ELCA stands for liberal.
