By the way, even Christ taught us that the Bread and Wine become his precious body, blood, soul, and divinity. Look at what he said at the time. “Take and it this IS my body, my blood” not this represents, this IS.

Also if it was for show, why did many of the people there leave at that point? Why was it so hard for the people to hear?

No one left at that point...Read the bible and get the real story...

I read the bible daily. The Catholic church is a more biblical church (from reading the bible standpoint than protestants.

A good portion of the Mass is centered on readings form the bible. Readings that are scheduled by the liturgical year and not what the pastor “feels” like preaching on.

Read John Chapter 6: 42-71 Especially the passage where it states “As a result of this, many (of) his disciples returned to their former way of life and no longer accompanied him.” If no one left why does the bible say they did?
