The Catholic Church in Brazil is facing a sharp decline among young people. A Pew report noted just last week that over 20 percent of Brazilians, the country with the most Catholics in the world, have left the Church for evangelical and pentecostalist groups, which are growing in similar fashion worldwide. Francis knows this and will address it. I look forward to hearing what he has to say on this topic. It seems to me that he would have to make remarks about the fact that the *Catholic* Church is the one, true Faith and the one, true church of Christ; otherwise, why would it be a problem that these folks are becoming some other type of Christian?
