Pray for our American Heroes

Our Loving Savior,

We Exalt You, our God, and we'll Sing of Your Grace Forever and Ever! O Worthy Master, we Glory in Jesus Who Forgave us and Raised us from the Dead. New Life in Christ is ours, All through Thy Sovereign Kindness and Love. 'Yes, they shall Sing about Jehovah's Glorious Ways, for His Glory is Very Great!' (Ps.138:5)

Our God So Merciful, our King, we ask for Good Blessings for our Troops. May they be Kept Safe Always, and Sheltered in Your Arms of Love. May Your Strength Uphold them, and Your Power and Abilities be theirs. May they be Filled with the Spirit of Christ, and Gifted with Salvation and Grace. For our Military Men and Women we Pray Isaiah 54:10, 'For the Mountains May Depart and the Hills Disappear, but My Kindness shall not Leave you. My Promise of Peace for you will Never be Broken, says the Lord Who has Mercy upon you.'

Our Abba, we Thank You for Liberty in Jesus Christ, for Freedom from the Penalty of Sin and Death. Thank You for Setting us Free to Walk in Newness of Life. We Ask that Liberty will Abound, both in our Nation and in Your Blood-Bought Church. May Bondages be Broken, Lord, throughout our Wayward Land. May Sin be Repented of and Forsaken, and those Trapped in Cults and be Delivered by Jesus' Hand. Set them Free, our God! 'Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.' (2Cor.3:17)

Your Majesty, we Pray for a Multitude of Godly Men to be Elected in the Upcoming Elections. May the Evil Men in Office be Soundly Defeated, Humiliated, and Disgraced. O our King, Proclaim Freedom for Your Church from the Tyranny of Wicked Men. Please Grant us Good Men who Stand for Jesus, and are Faithful, Righteous, and Just.

Please Bring an End to the Scourge of Abortion that Blights and Curses our Land. Our Shepherd, we Cry Out for Mercy for the Helpless and the Weak. Thank You for the Men You have Raised Up who are Passing Laws for the Preservation of Life. We Bow before You and Praise You, O Lord of Boundless Love.

Thank You, our Abba, for Hearing and Answering our Prayers. 'Let Everything that hath Breath Praise the Lord!' (Ps.150:6) In Jesus' Name, for the Glory of the King of kings, amen.

IN THE COLDEST and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting Glory, and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.

FROM THE BRAVE, albeit weary, ill-equipped, and untrained volunteers who straggled into Valley Forge on 19 December 1777 arose, with the help of some gallant friends from across the waves, the cohesive fighting force that became the United States Army, global defender of Freedom and scourge of Tyrants.

AS GENERAL WASHINGTON lifted his prayers on high in that bleak Winter, let our prayers now rise like a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and envelop them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

HEAVENLY FATHER, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these valiant men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear. We pray that You gather them in Your loving embrace, that You cause Your Countenance to shine upon them, and that You vouchsafe their souls to dwell eternally in Your Divine Presence. Please send Your powerful and merciful love earthward to shower upon our American heroes. Deliver them from harm as they give freely of themselves to protect us from the evil that surrounds us. We place our trust in You to wrap us all in Your loving and warm embrace and instill in us the strength to carry on in difficult times.

We humbly ask these favors in Jesus’ Holy Name.
