Once upon a time, stigma kept bad gay men in the closet. When they misbehaved, the gay community could claim that the misbehavior was the result of their closetedness, or else they could say, "See, he says he isn't gay, so he isn't! We don't want him!"
This helped gay lobbyists swap stereotypes. The old stereotype was that gays were molesters. The new stereotype was that gays could never be molesters, only victims.
In those days, gay activists could pillory the Vatican over child molestation, because the gay community was shielded from scrutiny over its own sex abuse problems.

Of course they will. One reason is that they don’t consider sex with children to be “abuse.” In this, homosexuals are not unique: many heterosexual adults agree.
Homosexuals will insist that people are confusing homosexuality with pedophilia.
They insist that these are TWO DIFFERENT ORIENTATIONS.
There’s some overlap, but it’s not exactly the same. The pursuit of the youngest sex partners is pretty much a standard for homosexuals, but it’s also common for heterosexuals.
When sex is “liberated” from a lifelong and lifegiving relationship, it becomes all about using a fresh body for personal satisfaction. 18’s too old, then 15’s too old, then 12 ...
Gays don’t consider it abuse.

Once upon a time, stigma kept bad gay men in the closet.
For centuries the fact that their perversion was illegally, regarded as a mental illness and acknowledged as a great sin against God, kept homosexuals in hiding. Now being a perverts is no longer illegal, is no longer listed as a mental illness and is widely pushed on our society by the Government..
This opens up a big can of worms among homosexuals, that they are so caught up in “solidarity”, they are unable to see their many problems unrelated to their sexuality as being apart from it.
Typically, their reaction to a problem is that it is caused by repression, their own or by others forced on them.
The truth is, inferred by anecdote, because they would abhor such statistics being made, that homosexuals are far more likely to have both physical and psychological problems than are heterosexuals. And these problems are usually unrelated to their sexuality.
An example was the confusion of a homosexual man, who was convinced that he had AIDS, even though he always tested negative. Why? Because he didn’t have the strength or endurance he used to, tired easily, was tending to put on weight and his hair was thinning.
A friend of his pointed out that he was over 50 years old. This puzzled him: what does that have to do with it?
