Interesting. Well, in this country I see so many supposed “Christians” who champion sodomy and abortion, this should not come as a surprise. Still it does. I would have thought Christians in Israel would have amounted to a more conservative element.

I'm afraid you don't get my point. The chrstians we are talking about are not American Fundamentalist Protestants; they are the native Arab chrstians of the Middle East, mostly Catholic and Orthodox.

Also Communism in Israel doesn't concentrate on social issues; it is "national liberation" Communism, just like the PLO and other such groups.
