Actually, most Catholics who go to Mass regularly didn’t vote for him. The problem is that when surveys ask people of traditionally Catholic descent for their religious identity, they will say “Catholic” even if they haven’t set foot in a church since their baptism.
I think the clergy was not good about speaking out and the Catholic turnout and vote would have been better if they had, but don’t blame Catholics for electing Obama. We’re not the majority here.

Most definitely not true — you are very misinformed.
We have members on the church staff who drive around with Obama/Biden stickers on their cars and they are not black.
I personally know of a well-to-do lawyer and his wife who voted for Obama and they attend Mass every Sunday.
