I think you’re right about the unpleasantness that lies ahead. It’d be difficult enough without Obama. But throw in a president who isn’t shy to demonize Christians or their beliefs and a media only too happy to propagandize his message, and it’s likely to be a rough road. There’s only one thing I can think of that Obama exels at. At that’s to foment a sense of injustice and injury among his special interests. I’ll be surprised if we don’t hear more remarks about the polarizing effects of Christianity similar to those he made in Europe last week.
