Deadly wildfires continue to ravage Colorado Springs and have thus far destroyed 473 homes making this wild fire the most destructive fire in Colorado's history. The images of these wild fires are apocalyptic and grips the imagination. It is in such times like these... while these images are fresh in the minds of Americans that we want to EXPONENTIALLY magnify this event and focus our attention to the very soon coming Day of the Lord (Rev. 6-19)!
The first of the seven Trumpet judgments (which follow the Seal Judgments - Rev. 6) in the Day of the Lord is described in horrific EXPONENTIAL detail
"And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up (Rev. 8:6-7)."
My dear friends, from this Divine first Trumpet Judgment one third of ALL trees upon the face of the earth will be burnt up!! Dear friend, can you even begin to imagine such an catastrophic event!! Can you even begin to imagine the smoke rising into the earth's atmosphere and its effects on millions upon millions of people from billions of burning trees?!! Oh my ear friend... it can only be EXPONENTIAL in every facet and yet this is just one of Almighty God's Divine plagues on godless humanity.
There is an estimated 400 billion trees on planet earth and one third of all those billions of trees which will burn comes to roughly 133 billion trees!
We have done the math and it is absolutely mind blowing. Also... 7% of all land mass is covered with grass. This area covers 9.93 million sq/km or 3.8 million sq/miles. This total area containing grass - which is given over to fire - is roughly a little bit bigger then the total land mass of the United States which would include Alaska. Indeed my dear friends... the earth will be on fire!!
Dear friends this is just one of the many EXPONENTIAL Divine plagues that Almighty God will send on the earth during this time of GREAT wrath upon the wickedness of ungodly men (Rom. 1:18-32, 2 Thess. 2:8-12, Rev. 6-16)!
Indeed all these things will be in the not so distant future and if you know not the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior then you will be left behind in this world and if you survive the Four Horsemen and Seal Judgments.
What is even more mind blowing then these global raging fires is that the majority of the world's godless unregenerate masses from all nations will STILL continue in their godless and lawless rebellion against Almighty God and His ETERNAL spiritual absolutes and moral absolutes for time (2 Thess. 2:8-12, Rev. 9:20-21).
Oh how hard the heart of fallen man can get!! Indeed all these things will be in the not so distant future and if you know not the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior then you will be left behind in this world and if you survive the Four Horsemen and Seal Judgments (Rev. 6)... you will observe all these events and know of a TRUTH that Almighty God's Word is indeed TRUE... Now my dear friends... What will your choice be then? Will your heart at this time get softer to Almighty God's Divine REALITY and to His saving grace for YOU or not? Most likely dear friend... it will not! Billions have shown it to be so.
Today my dear friend is the day of salvation! Now is the time! For we know not what tomorrow will bring! Dear friends if you know not the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior be sure that you do business with Him today! We have countless resources to help you come to a saving knowledge of the Savior of the world and to grow in the grace and knowledge of Him. Dear friend, may it be so, for you will NEVER EVER be the same!

Maybe you can explain why the most conservative part of Colorado has been “targeted” by God’s judgment two years in a row.
Or maybe why devout Jews were sent to the gas chamber and the people who sent them there escaped justice.
Or the thousands of Christians in Cappadocia who hid in caves to avoid Roman persecution.
Tens of thousands of Jews who were burned at the stake when they were blamed for bringing the Black Death to Europe.
Millions have wrongly died in the past and still Judgment Day has not come.
This time will be no different.

It’s very simple my friend... you and I live in a fallen world that excludes Almighty God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS and moral laws(Rom 1:18-32). My friend, you can scoff all you like but in the end it will be (2 Perter 3:3).
Well that’s good news my friend... but what about the future fires in which 1/3 of all trees of the earth will be burnt up? Do you believe God’s Word?
Not the same religion, but I do study, pray and have no fear about the weather or any other natural changes.
If a nation is good, obedient, loyally on the side of the originally intended people of Israel, good to the poor and respectful toward the fundamental, real property rights of others, natural conditions get better.

This time will be no different.
Most likely all of gods people will die in this persecution but satans people will go through Gods wrath and literally be burned with fire.
God will have a place ready for the souls of them who died that believe in him, but this is the only place the others have.
The earth has been destroyed by flooding, and God promised that would not happen again.
This author is a little hyper in judgment — not just Colorado will be destroyed by fire at the end of time, but the entire earth.

My friend... Your a little hyper yourself jumping the gun... I was talking about Rev. 8 and the Day of the Lord’s wrath (Matt. 24, Rev. 6-19) which book Catholics dismiss and reject as they do all the promises for Israel. As a former Catholic I know these things.
Yes that is true in the end of all things God will make a NEW Heavens and earth and the old will be disolved and destroyed with fire (2 Peter 3:7, Rev. 21)
Dear friend, Have faith in God and His a Word and believe. The events of the Book of Revelation are at the world’s door.
As all things are... we must do them in spirit and Truth (John 4:24, Heb 11:1,6). Whether it be science absolutes, moral absolutes or spiritual ETERNAL absolutes.
I pray that you would be objective on this matter and see for your self it can't hurt?

Believe me, Catholics do not dismiss the Book of Revelation. We have Daily and Sunday Readings from it.
I also have taught a Bible Study on the Book of Revelation.
Scott Hahn has an excellent book on the tie-ins with the Catholic Mass from Revelation — “The Supper of the Lamb.”
So, please do NOT lump all Catholics into one category here. For I would judge that you would be wrong in doing that. How could you possibly know the hearts of ALL Catholics.
Isn’t this another example of the bias against the Catholic Church that a whole thread was dedicated to?
And a PS for you — you were baptized a Catholic — you will always be a Catholics because that mark of Baptism does not leave your soul. Sit down with a priest and talk about it, please. You can come back at any time.
