Even if you tried to bury your head in the sand, you can still hear the tremor in the ground of the Western carnival that is coming. The music and dancing are getting louder and louder. It is one of human-rights-with-no-holds-barred. It is coming with all the revelry that you would expect. It cannot be ignored.
However, one problem with this procession is that it long left its original route. There are no principles to guide it, except the whims of those who are hiding behind its masks and leading it in whichever direction they please. Even those of us who are in Africa are totally alarmed by its lack of principles.
The other problem is that the issues being fought for under the guise of human rights are so patently wrong that an African like me stands aghast as I look at the current campaigns, debates, and legal reforms in the West. I am asking myself, But cant everyone see that the emperor walking in front has no clothes on?

Yes. For quite some time we’ve been telling starving Africans and other third-worlders: “Abort your kids! Or no more foreign aid from us!”
Nice.
Wow . . . great column!
Excellent article! The price African countries have to pay to receive aid under this administration (and Clinton’s before) is to accept abortion and homosexuality. Talk about attached strings! And not just accept them, but prosecute anyone who speaks out against them as hare crimes.
If America does not have a spiritual revival, we will not survive. If we do not repent of our national and personal sins, we will not be “saved” by ANY politician, no matter how great he/she might be. It would be a short reprieve only.
It is Africa and other global south nations that are now sending in the missionaries. God Bless them.
I HOPE he meets with the Emperor
and his Chamberlains when they come calling soon
It will be the Christian missionaries from the global south nations who will bring the good news of the Gospel of Jesus.
