Sad, because our great military has seen the hand of the Lord upon so many times. So many of our heroes have been men of faith. Even those who don’t agree with their beliefs should at least respect them.

George Washington got on his knees in Valley Forge alone in prayer at what I believe was the true turning point of the Revolution.

George S. Patton was said to have prayed every morning. And at a critical point in the Battle of the Bulge he ordered his men to pray. http://www.generalpatton.com/prayer/index.html
I would love to hear his opinion on this matter, if he were around to give it. What a vital part of America we are losing!
