Vladimir Putin will ban foreign homosexual couples from adopting Russian children, the government has confirmed. An amendment restricting foreign adoptions to 'traditional' families will be submitted to parliament in its autumn session by the government, Alexei Levchenko, a spokesman for Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, said on Saturday. The ban underscores a growing rift between Russia and the West over gay rights. Over here in the U.S. gay politicians with ties to NAMBLA would sponsor a bill giving the homos the right to adopt children and they would receive huge donations from GLAAD and Pfizer (who manufactures Preparation H). Even Putin gets what happens behind closed doors with children and homos.

Living during the cold war and Reagan as the first president I voted for, this is a weird time. I actually had a thought to move to Russia and learn the language and culture.
