I’m not scandalized, disappointed, or disheartened. Cardinal Dolan’s actions or statements do not affect my faith in any way.
Perhaps not; but it will have an enormous impact on the faith of many weak Catholicsweakened, I might add, by the actions of the modernist bishops like Dolan over the past 50 years.
Without question, our first obligation is to save our own souls; but as children of God, we have an individual duty to do everything in our power to lead other souls to salvation. Ignoring the actions of a progressive bishop like Dolan while he leads so many other souls astray, simply to please the media and his sycophant liberal followers, is not very much unlike those Brits who stood by and watched those Muslim bastards butcher that poor soldier in London, IMHO.
Exactly. I am a Catholic because of the theology of the faith. It’s Catholics like Dolan that give devout, practicing Catholics a bad name. The Church is full of these types and they should be purged and excommunicated. We
need more Cardinal Burkes and less Dolans and Wuerls.
I feel the same way, and I don't judge the Church if some in positions of leadership don't meet my expectations, or do or say stupid things.
Jesus knows how weak we are, he became one of us, and saw how we work, up close. He saw the weakness in his own Apostles, so to see that in today's leaders isn't surprising.
