Father, we pray for our troops, that You would watch over their lives and keep them from all harm; let their help come from You.
Lord, we pray concerning the situation with North Korea, that You would restrain their leaders before they attack. We ask You to protect South Korea, and give wisdom and resolve to their government and ours.
Lord, we lift up our eyes to the hills where does our help come from? Our help comes from You, O LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. You watch over us, and You will neither slumber nor sleep. No sparrow is forgotten by You, no bird falls to the ground apart from Your will, and we are worth much more to You than they. As You feed the birds, as You clothe the grass of the fields, so You care for us. You will never leave us, You will never forsake us, You will never take Your eyes and Your heart from us. We praise You, the God who sees us and who helps us, in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Come and pray.
Praying your prayer with you, Irish Rose.
Amen
Joining in praying for our nation and all our heroes.
May God comfort the families of those lost in Afghanistan. May the Spirit of the Lord restrain the evil in North Korea as well as in our land.
When I was a young child, our family escaped near tragedy. Most of the main appliances in the house, as well as the furnace, were fueled by natural gas, but a small leak in one of the gas lines put our lives at risk. As the gas poured into our little house, our family was overcome by the lethal fumes and we lost consciousness. Had we not been discovered by a neighbor who happened to stop by for a visit, we all could have been killed by this dangerous, unseen enemy.
As followers of Christ, we can also find ourselves surrounded by unseen dangers. The toxic realities of temptation and the weaknesses of our own human frailty can endanger our lives and relationships. Unlike the natural gas in my childhood home, however, these unseen dangers do not come from outside of usthey reside within us. James wrote, Each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed (James 1:14).
Our natural tendency to sin, compounded by blind spots that prevent us from seeing our own weaknesses, can lead to toxic choices that ruin us. It is only by submitting to God as He shows us our hearts in His Word (vv.23-25) that we can live a life that pleases the Master.
Read: James 1:13-25
And may North Korea be liberated from their evil gulag-state tyranny. Amen.
Thank you, dearest Irish Rose.
I join you in your beautiful prayer.
Lord, please hear our prayers.
Amen to your beautiful prayer for Our American Heroes and For Our Nation.
13 The Lord looks down from heaven;
he sees all the children of man;
14 from where he sits enthroned he looks out
on all the inhabitants of the earth,
15 he who fashions the hearts of them all
and observes all their deeds.
OH LORD, I join Irish Rose and all those who are praying today in THANKSGIVING for YOUR constant care over us and all YOUR creation. We ask YOUR special favor to be upon those who are serving...look down upon them, fashion their hearts to HONOR GOD, LOVE COUNTRY, PROTECT FAMILY, and help them in all their deeds that they offer to keep this country free. May the prayers of the faithful be pleasing to YOU and a blessing to them..Amen.

I remember that after 9/11, President Bush asked us to pray for God’s physical protection above our land. We continue to agree together for this.
