This is very good advice, and with the exception of the first point (which referenced priesthood and consecrated lives - nuns and brothers), it should be a great read for all Christians.

Does anyone else feel like one night, not too long ago, they went to bed in a reasonably normal world and woke up to a world scripted by Albert Camus?

The only part I have found missing is that of the calling to the single, non-married, non-priesthood, religious life in the world and in a special way, for those who are not-so-young adult, or middle-aged, and lets just say been around the block a few times.
