The Cultural Revolution

Hello everyone and welcome to The Vortex where lies and falsehoods are trapped and exposed. I’m Michael Voris.

When the Queen of Heaven told the three children of Fatima in 1917 that Russia would spread her errors all over the world – little did the world realize .. even today .. just how far reaching and widely spread those errors would be.

In China .. as we briefly touched on in yesterday’s Vortex .. the Communists established a system by which the Catholic Church would be subordinate to the state. It’s called the Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association .. or the CPCA.

The Chinese Communist effort was roundly and stridently condemned by Pope Pius XII at the time.

10 years later .. the murderous Communist party chairman .. Mao Tse Tung launched his Cultural Revolution and clamped down on the Church viciously. But he did not ELMINATE the Church – he did not choose to destroy it – just to bring it under his control.

Why? Why do government forces take this path of least resistance? Well, for one – governments are run by men and it is our nature as humans to get accomplished whatever we can with expending the LEAST effort as possible.

So why set up a gulag system or a concentration camp system if something easier will get the job done right? States that want to exercise Divine control over citizens don’t necessarily need to wipe out or crush a religion – they just need to control it.

When Karl Marx uttered his now famous line – Religion is the opium of the people he may have been on to something, albeit indirectly.

Think about it - how much easier would it be for the state if IT was the new drug dealer, the actual dispenser of the opium, instead of the Church. Think of how much could be achieved. Of course, there would be much work involved, but in the end, a much higher reward would be gained then that from the rather crude and un-subtle pogroms and executions and show trials.

If the state could seize control of the Church in a given country through a combination of inept Church leaders, and unthinking and uncritical church membership brought about through various social movements and cultural revolutions in the area of morals and the like – well, the possibilities would be endless.

Religion would be reduced at first to a mere type of sentimentality .. an affection for the “spiritual” but without anything especially concrete or of any real substance. It would be cornered into the world of “feelings” AND it would feel good about it.

There is no way this could be achieved however without hapless Church leadership unwilling to recognize the evil behind such designs. That is why every time in history when the initial plan of the state of addressing the Church has been confronted by strong Churchmen, the state shows its TRUE colors and turns blood thirsty – as we have seen in ancient Rome, Elizabethan England, the Stalin era Ukraine and Romania, along with many other local churches of martyrdom including China.

But the opening move on the part of the state is always to find clerical dupes .. easily tricked into running down endless rabbit holes of “common ground”, “dialog”, and the like.

Often times, a culture will easily serve up such clerical nincompoops that are easily manipulated owing to their own personal foibles and psychological weaknesses that can be easily exploited by more cunning men.

When the culture has eradicated the idea of masculinity and confrontation from the social lexicon .. then what emerges .. even from the church are soft-minded men who may be more or less “learned” or degreed or “intelligent”, but who at the end of the day .. cannot read the signs of the times.

They become a plague on the Church and the devastation worked on the Church at their hands is frightening to behold. And all the while .. they continue blissfully along in their ignorance .. allowing their arrogance and egos to be played like a musical instrument by the agents of evil.

Even if every now and then .. in the quiet of their consciences and intellects .. they look around and actually .. for a brief moment SEE the massive damage .. they allow the light of their consciences to quickly be extinguished by those supporters behind them cheering them on for what they perceive to be THEIR own personal gain.

The state .. seeking the eventual dismantling of the authentic faith .. proposes all kinds of things .. holds forth all kinds of enticements from actual money, and tax breaks, to sweet sounding philosophical systems and ideologies like social justice and peace. It’s Satan offering Our Lord all the kingdoms of the world, all over again.

Always looking to be a “partner” and “work with” the Church in achieving a better life for citizens .. the state gives mightily to the Church in the form of honors and honorable mentions, prayers offered before its legislative gatherings and splendid closings to speeches like “God Bless America”. Ah but be careful, the state giveth and the state taketh away.

Now during this business of trying to convert the church through subtle manipulation and take-over .. there are bound to be a few moments where a conflict or two will likely arise.

So agents of the state will be sent forth to engage with the Church leaders, others will be sent forth into the organs of social communication .. meaning propaganda .. all in an effort to minimize the inconvenience that is bound to arise.

The state is prepared for this .. its knows some “inconveniences” are bound to pop up – as we have seen for example with .. oh say, abortion on demand.

One inconvenience is when Catholics who are also agents of the state support it. So the state proposes the idea .. suggests the notion to the hapless Churchmen that their personal morality cant be imposed on a pluralistic citizenry.

And while that ideology doesn’t sit well with the clerical class, it is nonetheless tolerated for decades because, well, we wouldn’t want to have the inconvenience of a political stand-off at the communion rail now would we?

Another issue bound to produce a measure of inconvenience is that of same-sex marriage. So .. the state in cooperation with its allies in the media and other cultural institutions begins .. slowly at first, but building to a high-pitched crescendo .. suggests that the Church is out of step with modern man .. losing membership because of it .. and eventually accuses church leaders of promoting bigotry and hatred .. even rejecting human rights.

Of course .. not wanting to be seen in this fashion, the clueless clerics begin again looking for a way to not totally cave-in .. but simply side-step the inconvenience. So the state gently and friendly suggests the idea of same-sex civil unions .. which sounds so cool and gives off a “willing to meet half-way” impression.

In reality .. as the churchmen dither around and debate the ludicrous proposal amongst themselves .. they are once again left standing at the dock .. unaware that the ship has already sailed and looking very much the imbecilic lot. So the state has helped create an environment .. right along with Church leaders .. where what the Church says simply doesn’t matter to anyone in the culture anymore.

The Church’s authentic voice has been muffled and drowned out AND most importantly the state .. the culture .. the societal norms .. the cultural mores are now the guidelines at nearly at every church institution there is .. because the state has effectuated the ideological split between Rome and the local churches.

The state .. or better said CULTURAL takeover of the Church largely through the USE of the state’s powers is now nearly complete. In China there was a bloodbath in many provinces to bring the Church under state control. A state run organization was simply foisted on the Catholic faithful through physical violence.

But in the US – no bloodbath was needed. The Church has been brought largely under state control through a combination of ruthless men and women wielding the powerful weapons of both law AND a dumbed down populace running hither and yon in search of its next sexual pleasure. In confronting neither .. Church leadership will have the house brought down on themselves in the United States. The state has nearly completed its takeover of religion .. and is speedily dispensing its own opium .. especially to many religious leaders.

Even now .. in the last few moments of exercising what they foolishly believe to be some degree of essentially non-existent religious liberty .. leaders still sidle up to the state, play footsie with the political establishment, act like best buds .. all the while the howls of laughter echo through the halls of power because the politicians KNOW this game is over and their clerical opposition have been shown to be pushovers.

Yes indeed, Russia has spread her errors throughout the world .. even into some of the highest reaches of the Church.

Faithful Catholics must now busy themselves with detecting these errors and avoiding them .. whether they come from the body politic, the people or the pulpit.

Get to frequent confession and Holy Communion. Study and train your mind hard and your heart unswervingly in the mind and heart of the Church for it is the mind and heart of Christ Himself.

We were not created for this life .. but for the life to come. Get busy preparing for it.

It's easy to criticize Michael Voris and ChurchMilitantTV but he hits the nail on the head about 49 time out of fifty. This is the transcript of the current Vortex episode.

This is a succinct description of what's been going on in this country, not only with regards to the Catholic Church, but with regard to everything Christian. As recently as the late eighties Jerry Falwell would show up anywhere and tell anyone who asked that something is a sin, is always wrong, and that no amount of social acceptence makes a sin acceptable in the eyes of God. It seems that now, most people who could shake things up, prefer to avoid anything other than Christian media and pretend that "outreach" is preaching to the choir, selling books to fellow Christians, or talking someone into moving from one Christian congregation to another.

Just since the early nineties we've gone downhill to the point that the widely known folks who claim to be "Evangelical" and are somewhat in the public eye, are now endorsing queers marrying one another in the name of "fairness" and "equality". Likewise, a huge percentage of those who claim to be Christian are, in a nutshell, accomodating sin and evil in order to get along in a corrupt, corrosive, society, Hell bent on eliminitaing Christianity and Jesus Christ from all public discourse.

It's no wonder this contry is in economic freefall having turned it's back on God so rapidly. Rather than it being a sign of the End Times, it could just be Jesus Christ is dealing with Christians in one of the few ways that still gets their attention; dollars and cents.
