The battle of the heart and mind was over long ago. Heart in the first round with a TKO. The mind retired to Florida, last seen at the shuffleboard table, drooling.
IMNSHO, the three greatest writers who are presented with regularity on FR are Dan Greenfield, Dr. Thomas Sowell, and Dennis Praeger. I read everything by them that is posted, and even when occasionally I don’t agree with their conclusions, I respect the intellect and logic that is portrayed in their wring.
All three have backgrounds very different from my own. It is Conservatism that binds us together as one.
