“Note: They feel inferior. The church doesnt make them feel that way. They put the burden on themselves. “
Oh, sure. Mormon women can “put the burden on themselves” by accepting the condemnation, disappointment and rejection by their husband, family, extended family, friends, church leaders, mormon high priests, and just not worry about eternal failure, lack of resurrection if their husband is not pleased with them, being stuck in a lower level of heaven and forever away from the presence of God.
It’s only all their relationships, authorities and their mormonic gods.
Those silly mormon women must be amazingly weak to put that burden on themselves!
Instead, they should just smile and not worry about any of it.
Maybe they could just not worry about it. Herein lies the problem. You view women as victims. I don’t. A woman can easily say “If you want the bathroom cleaned, clean it”. The Mormon church won’t kick her out. Shoot, they seem to do anything to keep people.
These women set the bar for themselves. The church can ask them to dress up in prairie dresses everyday but they don’t have to do it. In the late 18th century, a whole ton of women directly disobeyed the church by staying in polygamy. They didn’t have a problem opposing the church.
The reason the women did everything is because they were too lazy to ask someone else to do it. I vacuumed the house yesterday and you don’t hear me bitching about my oppression. Freeper, please.
