Well I think your two cents is uninformed rubbish. You have to go back to the 30’s and 40’s and list the JW’s (who are not Christian but a pseudo Christian Cult) to try to pull you moral equivalence and religious pluralism two pennies. You could at least have come to the new century and talked about Westboro Baptist, or went to the last and tried to say Timothy MCviegh was Christian or something - you did not have to go back 80 years to prove your ignorance on the matter. There have been over 22,000 Islamic Terrorist attacks sine 911 alone. How many Christian terrorist attacks can you dog up for that time frame?

There have been over 270 million killed by Islamic Jihad in 1400 years,, and the Christian Crusades was not more than a 500 year belated defensive response to Islamic Jihad.

And the difference is in the Holy Books. Christian don’t do what Muslims do because it is not commanded of them to do so. I’ve read the Koran now 4 times. I’m wondering if you’ve ever read it, and if you have ever read the whole bible. Most Christians have not so don’t feel bad if you have not. But you should compare the text.

The 270 million killed number you site is as about as accurate as your grasp of the point I was making. Which is to say, you didn't remotely get either any where near right.

I'm not going to try to correct the majority of your post. Quite frankly, it would be too painful and I doubt it would do much good.

So, I'll go here, the 270 million killed by Jihad number has been debunked as fictitious.

A major part of this 270 number, (120 million) is derived from the African slave trade. 120 million is created by taking the total number slaves, which is approximately 25 million and estimated that 5 people died for every 1 slave sent. The number is totally bogus.

Also, the slave trade existed before Islam existed, so Islamic Jihad can't be responsible even for the true number of dead, which no one knows.

Now you're down to 150 million. 50 million of that number is derived from an article by Raphael Moore entitled "In Memory Of The 50 Million Victims Of The Orthodox Christian Holocaust." in a section called “History Of Asia Minor: 1894-1923”. Moore adds up all the Christian martyrs of the whole 20th Century.

Between the tolls exacted from prisons, concentration camps, forced marches and exiles, warfare, famine, and brutal military occupation, it is reasonable to conclude that up to 50 million Orthodox Christians have perished in the first eight decades of the twentieth century.

Moore takes this whole number and ascribes it to Jihad, which by his on admission, wasn't.

So now you're down to 100 million.

80 of that 100 million is pure speculation from the Hindu population decline. There's no evidence at all that 80 million Hindu's were victims of Jihad.

The last 20 million is Christians, Buddhists, and Jews.

There's no factual source for that number either.

Millions died? Yes, but to claim 270 million is laughable and that's being kind.

However, on the Christian side:

- The Thirty Years War - Catholic vs Protestant - dead approx 11 million
- The French religious wars - Catholic vs Protestant - dead approx 4 million
- The Crusades - Christian vs Islam - dead approx 3 million
- Spanish inquisition - dead 150,000
- Spanish armada - dead 2,000
- Lutheran slaughter of the Baptists for heresy - dead 30,000

All the torturing, burning at the stake, the burning of witches, oppression...etc. And those are just the highlights.

And in the 20th century, the Ku Klux Klan was a proclaimed "Christian" organization. The KKK reputation needs no explanation.

The Catholic vs Protestant war in Ireland.

So, yes, just a few decades ago, Christianity was a lot like Islam is today.

The difference is that countries in the west that were ruled by theocracy gave way to sectarian governments. The rule of sectarian law over religious law. Therefore people couldn't be executed for heresy any longer.

It was the same way in the Americas before the US was founded. The Puritans killed people for heresy.

Islamic nations are still under a theocratic rule, therefore they kill over religious differences. Just like Christianity did.
