oh my goodness...you seem to have no understanding of how the church works at all. First of all it is VERY deliberate and VERY slow. The Catholic church is not going to condemn her publicly for a long time. They contact her, describe complaints against her, and if necessary convene a liturgical court (very, very rare). The church is NEVER reactionary...individual people do not speak for the church....granted they can cause scandal and misunderstanding, but the church doesn't have the wherewithall to handle, on a personal basis, every dissident among the billions of Catholics in the world.
remain strong in your faith, do your best to counter her misguided works pray for her (remember Paul was a screw up before he was knocked off his high horse)
the world is full of these types, our government has more than their share, the Kennedys and Pelosis among them. The Mass is your best weapon in this scirmish...use it and benefit from it.....it works, every time its tried!!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
They don’t even address the phoney politicians perverting Catholic teaching on abortion and homosexuality. Look at Caroline Kennedy’s speech at the DNC. They could at least publicly condemn these fraudulent Catholics. Instead, they host them at the Vatican, or sit with them at a comedy event in New York.
There’s plenty of good priests, who speak out against the ills of our society. However, as long as the Church allows these radicals to hijack the message, I have no reason to attend their establish. Go to Mass at a Catholic University, and see what I’m talking about. I had a priest at my undergrad school, A Jesuit institution, openly endorse homosexuality, and the young “Catholics” loved it.
Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and my faith in him will falter. However, I’m completely disenchanted with the liberal progressives in catholicism.
