I've read that relations are very good, though, and unification is a possibility. I'm praying for that. I'm also praying that they're not wiped out. Keep in mind that there are two Coptic Churches - one Orthodox, the other Catholic. The Coptic Catholic Church is an Alexandrian Rite particular Church in full communion with the Pope of Rome. Now when I see the words “Coptic” I will know there is a difference. between the two branches.
