Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem
Forgiving others who have hurt us is NOT NATURAL. Not only that, it is generally an accepted thought that ONLY God is the Judge, so only HE can Forgive Sin. Yet, We Are Taught to forgive those who have trespassed against us. How do we reconcile that?
Even a casual reading of the Gospels reveals that the act of forgiveness is one of "Releasing the offender" to God for forgiveness. When the townspeople were throwing rocks at Stephen, he "Released" them, saying "Father, do not hold this against them". Even Jesus, in His last Words, said "FATHER, forgive them..."
This can be so helpful to us, as we struggle with the horrible things people do, when they have never apologized, or have asked us for forgiveness. When it is not in our power to forgive this individual, try RELEASING the person to God. Then it is up to HIM to forgive. That is His nature because He tells us He is a "Merciful God".
So, in effect, you have forgiven, because we know that God is faithful. The freedom a person experiences within themselves when releasing others is an amazing gift, as that person is now a participant in the Grace of God.
We pray for the Repentance, Restoration, and Renewal of Our Beloved Nation.
"Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say: 'Return, backsliding Israel,' says the LORD; 'I will not cause My anger to fall on you. For I am merciful,' says the LORD; 'I will not remain angry forever.
Come and Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
Blessings to All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer

Pray for Divine Peace and Protection
Of Jerusalem and ALL of Israel
THE LORD IS MERCIFULThe Scripture today, brings to mind
A poem, written over 150 years ago.
I think of Our Lord, as I read it:Oh, the comfort
The inexpressible comfort
of feeling safe with a person
Having neither to weigh thoughts
nor measure words,
but pouring Them all right out,
just as they are,
chaff and grain together;
Certain that a faithful hand
will take and sift them,
Keep what is worth keeping,
and then with the breath of kindness,
Blow the rest away.
