Father God, we are so grateful that Jesus alone is on the throne and that every knee and every tongue will eventually confess His Lordship. We can see people bowing to other gods, but only Jesus Christ is Lord of All. Hallelujah! How we bless You for revealing that to us by Your precious Holy Spirit.

We pray that Your Spirit would reveal Jesus’ Lordship to each member of our American military. Convict each concerning righteousness and grant each one repentance that would lead to a decision to join Your Kingdom and become spiritual warriors for You and Your causes. Until that time, we ask for the mercy that would grant them Your supernatural strength, help them and hold them up. For those who have bowed their knee to Jesus, remind them of Your favor and covenant blessings of protection. May faith arise as You send each one the Word of God that he needs in his current situation. Glory to You and thank You.

We will never give up on the United States that You established. Help us, we pray, to return to You and fulfill Your purpose to prosper and send Your Word to the Nations. We will never stop having faith that we are One Nation, Under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.

In like manner, let our prayers now rise lie a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and keep them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Dear LORD, thank YOU for this picture as it fits so well in line with our prayers. As I looked at it, it brought to mind the other verse we were praying over, “ the Lord is your shade on your right hand.” OH GOD, YOUR RIGHTEOUS MIGHTY RIGHT HAND that covers the hands of our soldiers, giving them strength even though the shadow of YOUR MIGHT..AMEN Bless our soldiers with continual protection, watch over Alek as he fears and questions, guide my Jake to YOUR THRONE of SOVEREIGNTY and GRACE...May MERCY be theirs...Amen.
