>The parallels between Habakkuk and the righteous Christ followers of today are striking.<
.
Isn’t it a bit arrogant and selfrighteous to compare the the followers of Christ today with the righteous living in the time of Habakkuk?
Many of our “righteous” who display a fish on their cars, show the slogan ‘Keep Christ in Christmas’ and ‘Proud to be a Catholic’, including their religious leaders, voted for the wrong person on 11/6/2012.
Now, reap the whirlwind.

No, I don’t think it is arrogant at all. If you listen to the message you will understand exactly the point.

Don't forget that As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one" (Ro 3:10). As believers, we have been imputed the righteousness of Christ. That doesn't mean that everybody who displays a fish or a Christian bumper sticker is truly a believer. To them, Jesus will say "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!" (Matt 7:23). But don't let that make you question the righteousness of born-again believers.
