Vienna, Austria, Jan 4, 2013 / 02:08 pm (CNA).- Several Catholic churches in Europe were reportedly set on fire in the days before Christmas, raising concerns of vandalism motivated by an opposition to Christianity.
The Observatory on the Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians in Europe reported that three churches were burned in Austria on Dec. 23, while a Nativity scene was burned at a church in France on December 18.
In the small Austrian town of Amstetten, three churches were set aflame, with one being severely damaged. The alleged suspect – a young man – was interrogated by police, but appeared to be confused and did not provide a motive.
Anti-Christian sentiments have not been ruled out as a possible motive for the arson, since only churches in the area were set on fire.
In France, a Nativity scene at the Church of Barby in Savoy was set on fire between 7 and 8 p.m. on the night of Dec.18. There were no indications that the fire was accidental.
The parish sacristan told reporters it was not the first time the church has been attacked. In previous years the church’s door was damaged, stained glass windows were broken and numerous books were burned.
Parents and children of the parish set up a new Nativity scene to replace the one that was destroyed.

The colleges all teach that it was the Muslims in Spain who led Europe out of the Dark Ages. In fact it was the Muslims takeover of most of the Mediterranean region that caused the Dark Ages, by shitting off western Europe from the eastern trade. Unable to get papyrus from Egypt, the Europeans had to resort to using expensive parchment for documents. The Vandals, who has conquered Spain in the 5th Century, had in fact preserved most of Roman culture. The Moors had simply moved in, taken over and exploited the existing wealth.

I think they're busy "bashing" mormons. I may bash Catholic theology sometimes but if we don't understand the cancer that has been islam since its inception and stand together America is dead.

When will the Catholic church get real and out the cancer of islam?
and I replied;
Why should it be only Catholics?
Because of my #3 (that was removed) stating there would be another Crusade and it would nor be only Catholics but all of Christendom including protestant (my remark was a little more obtuse and biting, thus the removal) and it doesn't matter if it's Austria or not.
The muzzies are leaving the US alone because their faux caliph is in the white house screwing us every which way and keeping us occupied with trying not to say the words "armed revolution" because if we did ... we might really consider it.
and muzzies are #1 on the list ... of which zero is one and THIS reply might be pulled.
