These "newspapers" do not seem worthy enough to be used as "fishwrap".
Perhaps they are better suited to be used for dog housebreaking target duty, or as adult diaper liners to be used at the old folks home for retired mainstream media types.

I can’t imagine how the National Catholic Reporter is still in business. Who would pay a dime for that fishwrap?
I can only guess that there must be a fair number of dissident parish clergy who push it on their parishioners every year, under the pretence that it is a source of Catholic news.
The landscape in Kansas City is littered with the bodies of the children of the “editors” of the fishwrap, whose parents were far more committed to the “causes” of the fishwrap than they were to their own families. Fighting with bishops, committing adultery, consorting with liberation theology “priests” were activities far more important to these people, communists really, than being good people of the Book
