Matters of faith and morals should not be subject to majority vote, or even super-majority as in this instance.
They should not be voted upon at all.
Thankfully, the laity understand Scripture and Holy Tradition far better than their Seminary-educated counterparts.
The only valid bishops are Catholic bishops. An unbroken line of succession from Jesus’ apostles. When protestants broke away from the one true Christian church, they forfeited their right to have bishops ordained through Holy Orders. The same is true for all faiths that are separated from the Catholic Church. There is a reaon why anglicans are becoming members of the Catholic Church by the thousands each and every day. The truth is the reason, and the truth is the Catholic Church.
