I've heard the theory that the Antichrist will be Islamic, but the thing that makes me doubt that is that after the Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38/39 wars, Islam will be so decimated after God destroys five-sixths of the Islamic armies who try to invade Israel with Russia that Islam will have lost almost all credibility.
It seems unlikely that in in the aftermath of such destruction of Islam, that anyone would willingly worship a Muslim. However, anything is possible.
