Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Jealousy? The word conjures up an unpleasant connection with envy, a word that has a slightly different meaning. "Envy" is the unholy desire to possess that which belongs to somebody else. It is one of the BIG SINS (Covetousness) that is Strictly forbidden in the Ten Commandments. Yet, God tells us in His Word He is a Jealous God.
The kind of "Jealousy" that is an attribute of a loving husband, protector, father, or sovereign is what is meant by "Jealousy". Nobody can snatch us out of God's Hand. The important thing is that the enemy is ALWAYS working on it, to lure us away from Our Heavenly Father. And of course, the end result of unfaithfulness is ALWAYS the same. We end up crushed, robbed, ruined, destroyed, and bereft of all that the Father has for us.
So, of COURSE Our God is a Jealous God! Of Course He does not want us to leave the safety of His presence. Of COURSE He does Not want the enemy to snare us and lure us away to destruction! Of COURSE He will defend His Own as a Consuming Fire! It makes sense if we understand the true meaning of the word "Jealousy".

We pray for the Repentance, Restoration, and Renewal of Our Beloved Nation.

For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Come and Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved America.

Father God, Thank you that YOU are in control and know every detail and plan for Israel. We ask that Your peace and purpose cover as a shield the land that You have chosen for the return of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ.
