OK, gonna get flamed but going with the Scripture on this, especially as we approach the Last Days.

I'm not sure that the scripture you quote is applicable here. The scripture seems to be referring to claims that people have seen the physical embodiment of God, rather than the guidance of Jesus in a dream, vision or NDE. For example, if someone meets Jesus in a vision/dream, and He says "Talk with these people tomorrow", that seems to be a world of difference from someone saying "I met Jesus last night - He's in the Holiday Inn by the airport."
