A real God has no need for religion.. that I can see..

Do you mean "need," or "use"? God has no need of anything from us; religion is strictly for our benefit. The Scriptures don't endorse your position. Christ said he would found an ekklesia (assembly); Paul said that worship should be conducted in good order. Sounds like religion -- systematic or formalized worship, usually involving a group -- to me.

Thats James opinion.. but he was quite religious.. as most Jews were..
