Very well said. And you are completely correct. When I was LDS I ignored those who told me I shouldn’t ‘think too much’ about LDS doctrine, just ‘follow the prophet’ and go on my feelings (what they call a testimony). I ignored them because, being young, I thought Mormonism could be defended intellectually. I thought myself out of Mormonism just as they warned me I would and THANK GOD that I did.
