God bless our pope! He has been preaching this warning since before the conclave.
A good nun once explained it to my Catholic school class many years ago. She called it a “lukewarmness” of faith or of the soul. She shuttered even talking about it stating it is very dangerous for Catholics to get in this state.
How about the destruction caused by the religious believers at the USCCB, who have been working for Jesus and socialism for a hundred years?
This is exactly what Christ was condemning in his letter to the Laodicean Church in Revelation.
