...did any of you compromise your convictions out of racial solidarity

Of course they did. What I've learned about most black Christians is that they're black first and Christian second. Please don't reply telling me of your lovely neighbor who is a black Christian and voted for Romney. That's why I said MOST. Most Negroes are racists.

Hey, here's the deal. Thoughtful blacks weighed all of the issues. They contemplated over their differences with Obama and Democrats on abortion, gay marriage, the destruction of the family, and God's place in society.

Having deeply considered every issue, they then noted that Obama was still black and they were still racist-socialists. This outweighed all other considerations and they gleefully cast their ballots (yes ballots) for him and every other socialist running for office.

It really is that simple.

The issue, as you know, goes well beyond just this individual candidate.

How any Bible-believing Christian can vote for ANY democrat is indefensible.

I pull no punches, they want their freebies and hate Whitey. Except for a very few, they are a lost cause. My heart has hardened in the last four years, especially the last week.

Christians need to go a lot further than abortion and same-sex marriage. The Obama/Dem agenda is institutionalized envy, jealousy, covetousness, bitterness and theft. Obama’s new commandment is that we must covet the wealth of anybody that makes more than $250,000/year. And the Church doesn’t speak out against this.
Christians look at the lefts agenda of envy/jealousy/covetousness and fall for the lie that it is all love and light. They weigh abortion against the “great charitable heart” of Democrats and come out for Dems. The Dems compound sin with sin, evil with evil. There is no trade off.
The Catholic bishops are the biggest supporters of the destructive, larcenous welfare state from hell. And then come election time they tell their flock not to vote for abortion. Too late.
Envy is a sin. Jealousy is a sin. Looking to the government to meet your needs and solve your problems isidolatry, the worst of all.

I am not writing this letter to accuse but rather to advance understanding. And even though I am white, I am not writing as an outsider but as a fellow evangelical, part of the same spiritual family.

You're wasting your time. The Black church is an ethnic church. Their "brethren" are people with the same skin color. Religious affiliation means next to nothing to them.
