I believe this with every fiber in my being. Unless we repent, we will perish. I think America has stepped into the balance and been found wanting. Sorry but I'm too old and tired to even attempt to be politically correct anymore.

Look what we have done for the world in our lifetime: The US has exploited technology to export every mundane job overseas producing employment and competition everywhere - we allowed the entire world to be modernized to our standard. Is that not noble and wonderful?

My professional career was spent programming computers starting in 1979 and I made good money at it -- today, crowd-ware can be bid on worldwide for a fraction of what I would require. This was made a political issue (exporting jobs) but look at the ends - our society is built, cost of goods will always be cheaper with worldwide competition and we can once again have a leisure class of great spiritual thinkers who can share wisdom (first shall be last).
