By the way, in case many of you TBC readers aren't aware, Dave Hunt is on his last leg of his sojourn on this earth, suffering the debilitating effects of a stroke several months ago. A short update was provided by Tom in the latest TBC Newsletter:
As most of you know, Dave Hunt had his 86th birthday in September. He is presently in a nursing care facility here in Bend, Oregon. Some months ago, Dave had a stroke, and though his vital signs are good, the Lords warrior and watchman is no longer standing on the wall or able to swing the sword of the Spirit as he once did. Ruth spends half of her 24-hour days ministering to her champion, a challenging care-giving task that she assumes with joy. Please continue to pray for Dave and Ruth as they see the Lord using them in new and different ways that are certainly no less fruitful as they glorify Him daily. Pray also for their children as they have the opportunity to minister to their parents as never before. The wonderful thing about knowing the Lord is that whether He provides the opportunity for us to minister to others, or we become the opportunity for others to minister to us, spiritual fruit is produced and God is glorified.

That's painting with a pretty broad brush to use the word "always."
I have a degenerative neurological disease that has destroyed certain areas of my brain. I haven't sought out professional psychological help at this point, but I could see a time when I might in order to help me sort things out and perhaps offer medication that will balance my brain chemistry.
We, as Christians, treat every other part of the body with medication, and think nothing of it. However, for some reason, these authors don't think there could be an imbalance in brain chemistry requiring psychotherapeutic counseling or medication? What makes the brain an organ that cannot be "treated" when we think nothing of treating the thyroid, heart, or kidney's, for example, with medication?
What’s not biblical about healing?
