Although "Emmanuel" is not an actual Name of God, it symbolic of His Relationship with us. This Prophecy of Isaiah was concerning Israel's alliances with foreign kings, and was both a warning and encouragement to victory.

The Gospel of Matthew quotes this Scripture in his Gospel, so, like many prophecies, it has more than one layer of interpretation.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

Come and Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation, and ,Of Course, for the Election Tuesday.
